Turkovic Violin Studio offers private violin instruction for beginners and intermediate students of all ages.   Instruction is based on age-appropriate attention to each student and is augmented with free group lessons.  Lessons explore the Mimi Zweig-Paul Rolland method, using Suzuki violin books.  Students are also taken to the Cincinnati Symphony and encouraged to attend other concerts. The Studio promotes a positive environment designed to maximize success, while still insisting on hard work and attention to detail. 

Janet Turkovic’s professional violin career saw her working with Concentus Musicus Wien under the direction of Nikolaus Harnoncourt, in Vienna Austria.  She has also been an NPR station manager and classical dj.  Her excitement for teaching young people spans 3 decades and she is especially enthusiastic about the Zweig approach for beginners.

Turkovic Violin Studio is located in Clermont County (Owensville), although Ms. Turkovic also teaches at St. Louis Catholic School.  Initial consultations are free.
